When large volumes of compressed air are required with high levels of energy efficiency and reliability, then the KAESER DSD | DSDX | ESD | FSD | HSD Series rotary screw compressors (available up to 500 kW) are the perfect choice.
Design configurations include:
- Standard ‘base’ model compressors and some modular compressed air system options
- ‘T’ model option | The DSD Series is available with an integrated refrigeration dryer for high-quality, moisture-free air
- ‘SFC’ model option | All large compressors are available with variable speed control (SFC) for optimum efficiency across a broad control range
On the large volume HSD Series, to achieve the high flow rate, two compressors are integrated within a single frame/package. Both units are equipped complete with airend, SC2 – SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller and individual cooling system.

Energy savings: Fixed-speed and variable speed (SFC) systems feature asynchronous motors which meet the IE4 efficiency class. Combined with the renowned KAESER SIGMA PROFILE airend, all of the compressors in this impressive range are provide large volumes of air efficiently and reliably.
Service-friendly design: Each system in this Series is designed to provide ease of access to all service and maintenance relevant parts from the front side of the unit, which saves time and increases availability.
Heat recovery: KAESER rotary screw compressors convert 100% of the electrical drive energy supplied to them into heat energy. Up to 96% of this energy can be recovered and reused for heating purposes using air compressor heat recovery systems.
