Large Screw Compressors

When large volumes of compressed air are required with high levels of energy efficiency and reliability, then the KAESER DSD | DSDX | ESD | FSD | HSD Series rotary screw compressors (available up to 500 kW) are the perfect choice.

Design configurations include:

• Standard ‘base’ model compressors and some modular compressed air system options
• ‘T’ model option | The DSD Series is available with an integrated refrigeration dryer for high-quality, moisture-free air
• ‘SFC’ model option | All large compressors are available with variable speed control (SFC) for optimum efficiency across a broad control range

On the large volume HSD Series, to achieve the high flow rate, two compressors are integrated within a single frame/package. Both units are equipped complete with airend, SC2 – SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller and individual cooling system.

Heat recovery: KAESER rotary screw compressors convert 100% of the electrical drive energy supplied to them into heat energy. Up to 96% of this energy can be recovered and reused for heating purposes using air compressor heat recovery systems.
